I can't believe Layla is going to be 3 months next week....amazing. I thought I would try the bumbo again. She is holding her head up so good!!!

Layla loves when we read her books. She looks at the pictures and talks when we read! We have almost all the Dr. Seuss books, which were handed down by Aunt Joanne, they were her cousins Matthew and Madison's! She especially likes when Daddy reads Dr. Seuss and when Mommy reads her Baby Einstein books.

Layla is growing SO fast. She now can shake a rattle when she holds it. She can also roll onto her side. She has also laughed a few times....absolutely adorable!! 

Mother's Day

This year was my very first Mother's Day. It was extra special since my Mom was here visiting. We spent the day shopping at the outlet mall by our house and going out to a late lunch. Chad and Layla got me the most amazing gifts; a iPod which they had engraved on the back "Happy Mother's Day", an engraved snow globe, and a beautiful ring with Layla's birthstone.They got me way to many things!!! Being a Mom is the most wonderful gift. I look at Layla in amazement and thank God each day for her!

Visit from Grammy and Grandpop Noel

Grammy and Grandpop Noel came for a visit this past week. We had a great time and they helped out so much. We miss them already. Thank you both for everything!!! Layla had so much fun with them.

Three Generations!

We went to Washington Oaks State Park in St. Augustine while my parents were visiting. It is absolutely beautiful!

We just had to take pictures of Layla in her Wisconsin gear. The sleeper was a hand me down from Aunt Lisa...all Layla's cousins have worn it!!! Chad couldn't wait till she fit into it. I can't wait till she can fit into the pink Wisconsin onesie from Amanda!!!

Bumbo!

I thought I would try out the bumbo, I know that she is still a little young but she holds her head up pretty well so I gave it a shot! She still is a little to small :-)

 

We are getting excited for a visit from Grandpop and Grammy Noel. We can't wait!! They fly in tonight!!!

2 Month Dr. Apt.

Layla had her 2 month checkup today. We can't believe that she is 2 months already. She is doing great....minus the reoccurring thrush and a blocked tear duct. She weighs 12lb which puts her at the 75th percentile!! She is 22.6 inches long, 60th percentile and 40.5cm head circumference which is 85th percentile. Layla also had her first shot of pentacel today and the rotateq oral vaccination. We have decided to do an alternate vaccination schedule for her. Dr. Pat offers a routine or an alternate schedule. With the alternate schedule she will receive her vaccines spread out over a 12 month period. So less shots per appointment!!! Layla did really good with the shot. It wasn't until we got home and she woke up from her nap that she was screaming in pain. I felt so bad for her, but after a cold compress she was back to her old self.

Layla is growing so fast. Chad and I are so very blessed to have Layla, she is our little angel. We are enjoying and cherishing ever moment we have with her!! Her are some pictures of Layla and Mommy!

Layla lost all of her hair on the top of her head and now it is growing back. Her hair was a strawberry blond, and now it growing back blond. Some of these pictures her hair looks red but it is actually blond.  I just love these jeans!!
