Layla got a chance to pet Sam for the first time today!! It was super cute and she was so gentle with him. Sam seemed to like it!

Daddy is Home!

Daddy went to the Philippines for work for an entire week. We were so excited for him to return. His trip went well and we are so happy to have him home. While Daddy was away Grandpop Noel came to visit so I wasn't alone. It was so nice of him to come and stay with us....Thank you SO much Grandpop!

Layla Grace!

We are getting excited to go back to Wisconsin to visit family and friends. Layla is going to have her own special day while we are visiting; her baptism. We are so thrilled to have Uncle Tim and Aunt Lisa as Layla's Godparents. She is so lucky to have such wonderful Godparents that love her so much. We sent out an invite to the baptism that had Layla's picture on it :-) Layla always smiles but we couldn't get her to smile for the picture!

Bath time! Daddy covered Layla's "privates" for the picture...I am sure Layla will appreciate that when she gets older..lol ;-) She is SO happy! I absolutely Love this picture, her smile is contagious!

The Beach!

This past weekend Chad and I decided to take Layla for a walk on the beach. We went in the morning so it wouldn't be to hot (it was still pretty hot). Layla feel asleep within minutes of walking...the waves are so calming. We walked on Anastasia State Park which is just north of St. Augustine Beach. We got to see some wild dolphins swimming in the water...it was amazing. We could also see a larger pod of dolphins swimming in the distance.

4 Month Checkup!

I can't believe that Layla is over 4 months old already. Time is flying by. Layla has been rolling over like crazy from her back to her tummy for the past few weeks. She definitely doesn't like to be on her tummy for to long!

Layla had her 4 month checkup with Dr. Pat yesterday. She is doing great! The only concern is that her neck is stiff which can happen between 3 and 4 months. We have to stretch her neck everyday...which she does not like:-( But other than that she is right on track with growth. She has doubled her weight...she weighs 15lb 2oz which puts her still at the 75th percentile. Layla is 24 inches long, 50th-60th percentile and 42.3cm for head circumference, 75th percentile. She had one shot at her visit, which was her second pentacel, and her second round of the oral rotateq.
