Pre-Birthday Present!!

This past weekend we decided to give Layla a pre-birthday present...(Daddy just couldn't wait till her birthday!). We got Layla her very own chair with her name embroidered on it.  She really likes to sit in it and pretend to read;-)

Visit to the Columbus Children's Science Museum!

This past weekend we took Layla to COSI (Center of Science and Industry) for her birthday! It was amazing!! It is mainly geared toward older children but they have an entire section that is for infants through 6 years. We had a great time and Layla really enjoyed it. 

 We need to get her one of these;-)

Layla's First Valentine's Day!

We celebrated Layla's first Valentine's Day by Daddy taking the girls out to dinner;-) We had a great time! This will be the last of Layla's "first's"! She will be turning the "BIG ONE" in exactly two weeks!!!

Layla is learning so much, she now puts her toy phone to her ear and "baby talks" and points the TV remote to the TV!! We are trying to teach Layla to give us high fives...that is in the works;-) She loves to give kisses with her tongue sticking out, it is so cute!

Some of Layla's favorite foods are: cheese, blueberries, bananas and chicken! Layla is starting to use a spoon...she almost can get food on it;-) 

It has been amazing watching Layla grow this year, we are enjoying ever moment!

Layla is growing SO fast. Time has flown by this year. We can't believe our little miracle is going to turn one in a few weeks. We are so very blessed! I look at Layla in amazement everyday and thank God for this special little girl! We are excited for her first birthday party in WI!

 

Layla has been learning so much over the past two months. She has been begun saying "Pop", waving hello and good-bye, cruising on the furniture, and turning the pages as we read her a book. She has also been trying to say "Sam"...she says "Sa"!! Layla has not begun walking yet...she seems to be content with crawling!! She will get the hang of it soon enough;-) 

Layla also just broke her third tooth last week. She now has her two bottom teeth and one lateral incisor. Usually babies get their two front teeth after their bottom two, but Layla is getting the tooth next to the two front teeth first!!
