Last week Layla's friend Nate came over to play! Of course we all had a great time!  If I ask Layla who is her Best Friend she says "Nate"!! She talks about Nate all the time...it is SO cute! Mel took some great pictures of the kids...Thank you!!

Layla and I will be WI bound on Wednesday!! We are very excited!! Grammy and Pop will be traveling back to Ohio with us and staying for almost a week...we can't wait!

Swim Class!!

We enrolled Layla in a swim class every Tuesday night at the Westerville Community Center! Daddy decided he would like to be in the water with Layla. I was surprised but half the class was Daddy's:-)

18 Month Check-up!!

Layla had her 18 month check-up with Dr. Gaglani today! Layla did great:-) She is so tall for her age! Layla weighed in at 24lbs 6oz (50th percentile) and her height was 33inches (85th percentile..Holy Cow she is tall!!). Her head of course is still big...19.5inches (90th percentile!). She had three shots (2nd Hep A, Pentacel, and Flu)...poor thing. 
I remembered to bring our camera this time! Just a few pictures before the camera died;-(

This past weekend went to the fall festival at the Zoo!! Layla was in heaven when she saw the tractors and she could actually sit on them!

Awhile ago Grammy and Pop got Layla a really cute Adidas outfit and now it finally fits! She Loves to wear it with her sunglasses!

Layla's POTTY!

Layla has shown such an interest in the potty for the last month! She even will say at times "poop" and a few minutes later she will poop. Just the other day in the bathtub she said "pee" and stood up and started peeing!! In the last 2 weeks she wants us to put her on the potty after her bath...she says "pot". She doesn't go but she just likes to try out the potty and flush after. So I decided to get her own potty for our bathroom just for her to sit on! We will see what happens but in the next few months we may start to really try potty training!!

9/11

The events of 9/11 will forever be apart of our lives. It was a horrific tragedy and my heart goes out to everyone that lost a loved one that day. One day we will be explaining to Layla what happened that fateful day. 

Every year in a park near our house they have Cop and Kids day. This year they held it on September 11th to mark the 10th Anniversary. We went with our neighbors and their son Ryken. They had cop cars, firetrucks, helicopters, prizes for the kids and much more. We had so much fun...Layla especially loved it;-)

Labor Day weekend!

We had a very nice Labor Day weekend! It was nice to have Daddy home for one extra day;-)
