Baby Brother's first present!

My good friend Kelly and her family sent Layla's baby Brother his first present in the mail!! It was very thoughtful of them! Thank you! We love the cute onesies and sleepers!

We are having a........???

We are so excited and blessed to be announcing that in January we will be having a BABY BOY!!! Just as the road to have Layla was long, so was the road to have our second child. We are truly blessed to have not just one miracle, but now two! We also went through infertility treatments and after a long year of trying, I am pregnant!! My due date is January 16th, 2013!!

 The first two ultrasounds were done at Dr. James office! (our infertility doctor)

4 weeks...

 On August 23rd Mommy was 19 weeks!

We decided to have my Dr. write down if the baby was a boy or girl and put it in an envelope for us to open at home!!

We had to wait till Daddy got off of work to open it!

It was so tempting to open it...but I stayed strong!!

Layla is very excited about being a BIG SISTER!! She talks to Baby Brother..it is SO cute:-) Layla is going to be Mommy's Big Helper! We have not decided on a name yet...But ask Layla if she likes any of the names we ask her! She doesn't like any but Pete (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Grandpop's name)...it is SO funny and cute!!

We meet Nate and Mel at a new park that we never had been too! The kids had a Great time:) It was Very Hot for the pregnant Mommy's!!

Visit from Grandpa Steve and Grandma Barb!

Grandpa Steve and Grandma Barb came for visit! Layla was SO excited when they pulled into the driveway! We had a nice time with them...Layla was full of smiles the entire time! On the day they left Layla said "Mommy I'm sad" and I said "Why"..."cause Grandpa Steve and Grandma Barb left"...Awwwh! She is so sweet! She will soon be shedding the tears when family leaves:-(

Blackberry Picking!

We went to Lynd's Farm to pick Blackberries! Layla absolutely Loves blackberries...we had a great time! Layla carried her basket the entire time...as Mommy filled it:-) At first Layla started putting her blackberries in the basket...then decided it would be better to eat them! She ate SO many blackberries...all you heard was YUMMMM!

The morning of Mommy's birthday Layla received a special gift and letter from the Nukkie Fairy! She was SO excited!

As far as Layla and not having her Nukkie's, has been a challenge. The first night was rough. But she has been excepting of the fact that she has given her nukkie's to babies that need them! She is not asking for the nukkie's back:-) She is just having a hard time adjusting to not having the nukkie soothing her to sleep. She is not napping as much and we are working on that for sure! It is a huge change and it will get better! The next big change will be a BIG GIRL Bed!!
