Poor Nolan and Random Pictures of Our Loves!

I can't believe that Nolan is 6 weeks old! Time is flying by...with little sleep! Layla and I took Nolan into see Dr. Mahoney yesterday...we have been concerned because he is very congested, fussy and is in pain. I thought it may be acid reflux and it is. He now has to take Zantac three times a day for a few months:( Poor Guy! We just want to see him be pain free! It breaks my heart to see him scream and arch his back in pain! Hopefully the Zantac will help soon! 

Although he has acid reflux which causes him to cry an awful lot, he is still cooing and smiling! He is also gaining weight great!!...he weighed 12lbs 5oz!!! He loves to eat:)

 We can't believe that Layla is going to turn 3 in a few days! She is an amazing little girl who has the biggest heart! We can't believe how much her imagination has soared and her fascination with spelling words! What a Happy Girl she is...she'll put a smile on anyone's face!

Layla is very excited for Grammy and Grandpop to be visiting for her birthday! We decided not to travel back to Wisconsin for her birthday since Nolan was so young and Daddy couldn't take off much work. Layla will be having a birthday party with her friends in March at Gymboree...she is SO excited!!

Disney On Ice!

Mommy and Layla went to Disney on Ice! Layla was SO excited and was talking about going for weeks before we went! I can't believe how much of a Big Girl Layla has become! We had a Great time and Layla LOVED it! We got our popcorn and enjoyed the show;-)

The Dogs!

Layla loves our dogs Sam and Jackson! She helps out Mommy so much...by feeding them and letting them in and outside! They have been great with Nolan! They just smell him and wag their tails! Layla wanted her picture taken with the dogs!

Layla has been asking for weeks when she can feed Nolan with a bottle! She was very excited when we told her that she could:) Nolan took his first bottle very well..I think it was because his big sister helped;) Layla is such a Big Helper...she's a wonderful Big Sister!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Layla was excited for Valentine's Day! She made Daddy a valentine:) And it was Baby Nolan's first one!

Playdate with Ellie and Mabel!

Layla's friend Ellie and her baby sister Mabel (almost 4 months) came over for a playdate! It was nice to spend some time with their Mommy too! Layla was very excited for them to come over! Mabel is such a sweet happy baby! Maybe Nolan's future girlfriend;)

We had a great time with Nate and Lucas! Layla was so excited that they came over. We couldn't believe how big Baby Lucas is! How time flies by...Lucas is 5 1/2 months old!! And of course Mel took some super cute pictures of the kids! We can't wait for Mel to take Layla's 3 year pictures!

Layla loves letters and trying to spell words! She has had her name down for over a year! She is moving on to spelling small words...and knows how to spell Nolan's name!
