Memorial Day Weekend!

We had a nice long Memorial Day weekend! It was a beautiful weekend! Layla couldn't wait to help plant our flowers!

We went on a bike ride up the flags in Westerville that honor all the men and women that have lost their lives to war. We appreciate all those who serve and have served are country. Great-Grammy's only brother lost his life in WW2.

Nolan Eating Cereal and Outside Fun!

Nolan started eating Oatmeal cereal...just once a day at dinner time! We will stay with the cereal for a month and then introduce fruits and vegetables! He is doing good and seems to like it...not a surprise! Since he likes to eat:-) Layla was very excited that Nolan is sitting next to her at the table! And she couldn't wait to help feed him with a spoon! She is such a wonderful Big Sister to Nolan!

Nolan's 4 Month Check-Up!

Nolan had his 4 month checkup with Dr. Mahoney! He is growing SO fast. I can't believe what a big boy Nolan is! He is a very different baby then Layla...almost complete opposites, except that he smiles a lot...just like Layla!
Nolan's checkup went great...he is healthy and just where he should be with his milestones! He is rolling over from his back to his tummy, smiling, laughing and cooing! He is still not sleeping through the night. That is one thing that has been a challenge for us. Nolan wakes up quite often during the night and has a hard time getting back to sleep:( He is following in the footsteps of his sister and his cousins...not a good sleeper:( We just pray that it gets better...(this too shall pass). Dr. Mahoney suggested to start cereal with Nolan since he eats SO much that it has been hard for Mommy to keep up...Nolan eats every two hours! He is doing much better since being taken off the medicine for his acid reflux!

Happy Mommy's Day!!

Mommy had a wonderful Mother's Day! I am so very blessed to have two beautiful children that are true miracles! Being a Mom is the most amazing thing, it has changed the way you look at life. Not to sweat the small stuff because all the matters is that your children are healthy and happy!! Thank you Layla, Nolan and Daddy for making me feel so special!
