Mother's Day and Amber's First Holy Communion!

For Mother's Day weekend we ventured back to Wisconsin to see Layla's cousin (my Goddaughter) Amber, celebrate her First Holy Communion...which was on Mother's Day;-) It was a quick weekend packed with visiting family! Layla is walking so much now! She is still unsteady on her feet at times but she is getting the hang of it!! She is definitely keeping us on our toes!!

When we got to WI we went over to Uncle Mark and Auntie Jenny's for dinner. We had a great time. It was so nice of them to make us dinner!! They gave Layla a toy phone...which was SO sweet of them (she loves to carry it around!). Thank you guys...We love you!!

Saturday we went to see Layla's cousin Nicholas play in a soccer tournament. It was a little cold but we enjoyed watching him play!! He is quite the soccer player;-)

 Mother's Day and Amber's First Holy Communion!

Mother's Day started out with Daddy cooking Mommy and Grammy breakfast! It was yummy;-)

Three generations:

First Mother's Day...one year ago!

The night before Mother's Day Layla got her first battle wound from walking:-( She was holding hands with Daddy walking on Uncle Tim and Aunt Lisa's driveway and fell forward, hitting her nose and forehead on the ground...Poor thing:-( She screamed for a little while but bounced back like nothing happened.
