Dr. Appt. and Pictures

I took Layla to the Dr. yesterday since her thrush still had not gone away in her mouth and she had another rash outbreak. She was put back on medication, a cream for the rash and a oral for the thrush in the mouth. The poor thing has had this since she has been a few days old. We are hoping that this will clear everything up:-) I did weigh her and she weighed in at 12lb 2oz!!! She is sure gaining the weight. We have her 2 month check-up next week Tuesday so we will see what percentile she is in. 

Layla received a beautiful personalized blanket from Chad's coworker/friend Gee. We took some really cute pictures of her, these pictures are completely Layla...she is smiling and cooing/talking so much.

We introduced the bottle to Layla a few weeks ago and she took to it right away :-) Chad loves to feed her.

Layla's cousins love her so very much. They are so good with her. Nicholas loved to hold her and Amber loved to read her books. Joshua wanted to be by her all the time!!  We enjoyed every moment we had with them. We miss them already!! We took SO many pictures! There are so many cute ones that I had to post a bunch.

 

 

The Jacksonville Zoo

Since we had family in town we decided to go to the zoo. This was Layla's first official outing, although she slept the entire time;-) We love the Jacksonville zoo!

Happy Easter!

Layla celebrated her first holiday....Easter :-) She got to celebrate it with her cousins; Nicholas (8), Amber (6), Joshua (21 months), and her Uncle Tim and Aunt Lisa. We enjoyed Easter mass (except Mommy and Layla) and after we all went to Easter brunch at a country club down the road from our house. And of course the Easter Bunny was there, so Layla had her first picture with him.
