SANTA!!

Layla was SO excited to see Santa!! She asked everyday if we were going to see him...so she could tell him about the Tinkerbell scooter she would like for Christmas!

St. Nick!!

St. Nick arrived at our house on the night of December 5th! The next day when Layla woke up she couldn't wait to see if there was any goodies in her stocking! We told her that naughty boys and girls get coal in their stockings....but she assured us that she is a "good and nice girl"  Which she has been, so we were pretty certain that she would have something in her stocking;-)

The Elf on the Shelf....On the first day! Layla woke up so excited to see where Daisy Pete was! She found her under the tree with Santa;-)

Getting ready for Christmas!

Layla has been SO excited about Santa and Christmas this year! The following weekend after arriving home from Wisconsin we got a tree and put up all are decorations! Layla just wants to help with everything:-) We found our mini Christmas Tree that is know Layla's;-) She couldn't wait to decorate all by herself! Daddy put up the Christmas lights outside, while Layla and I did some decorating inside!

Layla and Jackson! 

(our Boy is getting older...he just turned 11!) He still at times acts like he's two but he's starting to slow down...Layla says "Jackson is an old guy"

 We also started a new tradition...the Elf on the Shelf! Layla was very excited! We had been talking about the Elf for quite awhile! At first Layla named her Elf "Pete" (Grandpop's name) but found out it was a girl;-)...her name now is Daisy Pete! Every night she flies to the North Pole to report to Santa if Layla has been Naughty or Nice! Then she flies back and finds a spot in our house to stay. When Layla wakes up she has to find her!...but she can Never touch her or her magical powers will go away! Layla does not even attempt to try to touch her and also warns us not to touch her either:-)
