Painting!!

We have been trying to get some painting done before Baby Brother comes!! Since I am trucking along at 22 weeks! I feel much better...I was SO sick in the first trimester. My heartburn is still bad, so I have to take Pepcid. Layla talks about Baby Brother everyday...it is SO cute. She tells me all the time.."Mommy you have a baby in your tummy" and she says "HI and I Love You" to him! Layla is going to be a wonderful Big Sister! Since we know that we are having a Boy!!...we decided on a paint color...BLUE! We still have to decide on a name, Mommy's list has been made;-) 

Since Layla's favorite color is purple (and she has added blue), we wanted to paint one of her walls purple! Layla was SO excited to have a purple wall in her room!

 Our next BIG step towards independence is a BIG GIRL BED!! Since Baby Brother will be getting Layla's furniture...the time has come!

Layla has gone through SO many big changes since turning 2!! First potty training, next came the Nukkie Fairy and now a Big Girl Bed! 

Layla can't wait (Mommy sure could)...we have been reading about it for a few months! And she is ready!
